What is the Steam Deck?

The Steam Deck is a handheld gaming PC made by Valve, running SteamOS (Linux-based). It features an AMD APU (Zen 2 + RDNA 2), 16 GB RAM, and a 7-inch display (LCD or OLED depending on model). It allows you to play your entire Steam library on the go – over 10,000 titles natively or via the Proton compatibility layer.

What is the difference between Steam Deck LCD and OLED?

The Steam Deck LCD (256 GB) features a 7-inch LCD display and a 40 Wh battery. The OLED models (512 GB and 1 TB) have a larger 7.4-inch OLED display with HDR and a stronger 50 Wh battery for up to 12 hours of playtime – with significantly better contrast and colour gamut.
